Tip all the ingredients into a 1 – litre bottle, shake well, sup up and enjoy!!
Make ½ pint of black coffee and while still hot add sugar.
Allow to cool to below 140℉ and then add other ingredients stirring all the time.Allow to cool off and bottle.
Clean and prick the Sloes all over with a needle. Pack into a Kilner type jar, add sugar and a few drops of Almond Essence. Fill jar with Gin, secure lid tightly and store in a cool place.
Shake daily until all the sugar is dissolved. Leave still for 10 - 12 weeks.Strain through muslin and bottle
